All Souls Day was celebrated at the Shrine of St. Therese with Bishop Edward Burns, Father Pat Travers and Deacon Charles Rohrbacher. Each deceased member of a parish in the Diocese of Juneau who died this past year was remembered in a special way. A candle was lit, 56 in all, as Bishop Burns entoned their name and the congregation responded, Lord, hear our prayer. Candles not taken by attending family members will be sent to the parish of the deceased and will personally be presented to the family by the pastor of the parish.
