MAY 4, 2011—Chaplain (Maj.) Patrick Travers has been awarded Air Force Reserve Command’s Chaplain Individual Award for Excellence, one of only three awarded this year. His accomplishments that led to him winning this award were volunteering for a third unsolicited seven month deployment, constructing the chapel service program for the newly activated 477th Fighter Group from scratch, and completing 12 hours of legal education classes to maintain his attorney license.
