MYERS CHUCK, ALASKA—Jerry and Terry (Herda) Gucker celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary with a Vow Renewal Mass on December 31, 2010. They were married at the Shrine of St. Therese in Juneau fifty years ago.
Gathered with them were their six children and all their families. All of their grandchildren sang/signed a special blessing, then ended with a rousing instrumental; they all play instruments, some several.
Other activities included sledding, skiing, ice fishing, snow-machining, snow shoeing, hiking, cooking, eating, laughing, loving and endless stories.
Festivities ended with a huge bonfire, fireworks and song. They were hosted by Rena and Hank Brinker of Anchorage and Anna and Dennis LaRoche of Kenai. The family experience…Priceless!
