David Bossardet and Louise Wolfe, both of Florida, were married in St. Therese Church in Skagway on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. When the couple first began planning their cruise to Alaska they did not plan on getting married, but they quickly realized it would be the perfect place. Since being married in a Catholic Church was of great importance to them, they weren’t sure if getting married during the cruise was a possibility. That’s when Father Perry helped the couple make their dream come true. Father Perry, the parishioners of St. Therese, and the folks at Jewell Gardens, helped the couple to have their dream wedding. David and Louise appreciate the kindness of the parishioners of St. Therese who provided the cake and refreshments for the reception following the wedding; Jewell Gardens for providing the bouquet and floral arrangements; the SMART Bus drivers who helped them get to and from the church on time, and Father Perry who helped throughout the planning process and served as the celebrant of the Catholic wedding. The happy couple plans to return to Skagway in the future to celebrate one of their many anniversaries to come.
