Shrine supporters enjoy an evening of masks and music

On Friday, February 21, 2014 the Shrine of St. Therese Board hosted a Mardi Gras Masquerade Gala at the Baranof Hotel. The night was a great success and thanks are owed to many people and businesses.
A special thank you to the Knights of Columbus Assembly #1992 for sponsoring the event. The Knights do an incredible amount of charitable work throughout Southeast Alaska and their support of the Shrine is deeply appreciated.

Alaskan Brewery donated two kegs for the event and the Baranof very kindly donated the use of the rooms. Martha’s Flowers donated lovely centerpieces. The following businesses and individuals donated items for the silent auction: A.J. Many thanks to all those who attended the Gala and helped to make it a success. The Shrine raised $20,000 – about $5000 short of our goal. It’s still not too late to help reach our goal.
