World Aids Day – December 1st

The Catholic Church plays a special role caring for those with HIV, guided by Catholic social teaching.  Besides threatening a person’s life, HIV brings with it a devastating stigma that causes fear and hurt beyond the physical pain.  But the Catholic Church brings its special gifts to help restore dignity and health to those who suffer.
