Bishop begins Year of Faith pastoral visits to parishes

Bishop Burns began his first Year of Faith pastoral visit to the parishes of the Diocese of Juneau with mass at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Sunday morning, Oct. 28th.

Burns has scheduled a full week of Cathedral parish events,  including community meetings, observation sessions, listening sessions, liturgies and blessings. The complete schedule of events for the week of Cathedral pastoral visit may be viewed here:

Cathedral Pastoral Visit schedule 

The Synod Listening session for the Cathedral parish will be held tonight, October 29th, at 7 p.m. at St. Ann’s parish hall.

An open Community Forum will be held at Centennial Hall, Egan Room, on Tuesday, October 30th at 7 p.m. All interested members of the community are welcomed to come and participate in dialogue with Bishop Burns about the Catholic Church.
